here from speak spanish faster.com and in today’s video i’m going to be walking you through some very important common spanish phrases that you need to know if you want to be able to converse on a daily basis with other spanish speakers so there are about 50 english phrases and for each of those english phrases i have one two sometimes even three spanish phrases per each word and i’ll explain why i do that in just a second but first here’s what i want you to do i want you to go through the entire video and just listen to the phrases and see the phrases all right then go back through the video again and write down the phrases that you aren’t familiar with that you just don’t understand write those phrases down in spanish with the english translation to the right of it and each day i want you to come back and i want you to study you could just write that’s why i say write with on two columns or just have a piece of paper draw a line in the middle spanish on the left english on the right so that way you can test yourself by simply covering the english side with your hand reading the spanish side trying to guess what the translation is so that’s how i would use this video to really learn these phrases and then of course you want to start using these phrases out in the real world when you see other people start trying to use these phrases to talk and i’m sure you’re also going to hear these phrases a lot so without further ado let’s jump straight into the phrases for today’s video all right so for some of these phrases i will have multiple phrases in spanish for example on this first phrase hi how are you so all three of those phrases pretty much mean hi how are you doing next phrase it’s all good so as you can see for some of these phrases i’ll have for some of these english phrases i’ll have three spanish phrases some will have two some i will have one but the beauty is some people will ask well why do i need to learn all the different ones why can’t i just say one well there’s a few reasons for it but i’ll give you the two main ones that i can think of number one is because you don’t know which phrase other people are going to use when they talk to you so the more phrases you know the more prepared you will be for conversations with other people some countries might use one of these phrases more than other countries the other reason is so that you can be more versatile when you speak spanish so you don’t always just have to say hola como estas hola como estas hola como esta like sometimes you could say hola hey like i say in the beginning of my videos but no in all seriousness that’s the reason why it’s good to learn numerous phrases for you know different phrases in english so let’s go sorry for stopping there let’s get back to it all right buen dia buenos what’s the time or what time is it what’s your name my name is what is this what is that now if you don’t know este i’ve done a video on that topic so definitely refer to that video on my channel just go to the search and you can find it pretty easy how do you say this is a very important phrase that all beginner spanish speakers especially need to know how to say almost he said i still use that today sometimes i’ll go to a country where they might say something different and i’ll say what como se di si whatever it is that you just said and they’ll say it so como series is very very important or i’m very hungry pretty much when you use the exclamation marks it’s like you know i’m hungry very hungry so tengo hambre what would you like to eat of course we all love to eat so this is a great phrase that you might hear from others or it’s a great conversation starter with other people you’ll hear this all the time especially from waiters if you’re eating at a restaurant a spanish restaurant before you eat they’ll say buen provecho you can use all those phrases to say i’m sorry mencantaria i would love to no puedo i said esto or eso i can’t do this or that estoy cansado estoy muerto no de mas i’m tired all right so i know the second means phrase dead but don’t we say that in english sometimes when we’re really tired we say man i’m dead today estoy muerto all right no doy mas is like i can’t give anymore but what does that mean i’m tired to meet you i’m not interested or it doesn’t interest me but both of those pretty much mean i’m not interested please leave me alone what do you do and you would ask somebody this when you are referring to their occupation are you in a relationship is if you’re using boss now this isn’t that common in some spanish-speaking countries but it is common in other spanish-speaking countries like argentina you might hear this colombia you might hear this they’re using bose instead of tu i’ve done a recent video on boss so if you don’t know how to use bose or you don’t know where boss is used definitely check out that video it’s i’ve done it recently maybe a few weeks ago so it’s one of the newer videos on our channel no lo recueldo or no lo recuerdo sorry for my little puerto rican accent no lo recuerdo no recuerdo no me a cuerdo i don’t remember ben comigo a company so what do you mean by that where are you going excuse me what did you say i don’t understand actually the tone would be no entiendo no comprendo i don’t understand with exclamation points or marks can you speak more slowly
