this is the new Scrambler 400x and while Rohan and the world have already showered their love for it today you and I are going to find out what the Scrambler name truly stands for scramblers are a category of motorcycle that can wear both hats comfortably being a great road bike as well as something that is equally capable in the rough they marry a street naked seat for Road purposes with raise suspension for when the roads end take the 400x it’s a great example of what it means to be a modernday Scrambler it’s derived from Triumph’s Legacy of making scramblers for so many years in terms of its style and design DNA and it gets a distinct silhouette as well as a scrambler style seat a wide handlebar and upright riding position as well as an upswept twin Pipe [Music] exhaust this is maned to 150 mm of suspension travel a 17-in rear wheel a 19in larger front wheeel a Revis chassis and all of this means that this motorcycle true to its name of being a Scrambler thrives both on the road and off the credit for creating the Scrambler segment unequivocally goes to Triumph themselves in the early 20th century a group of gentlemen in England wanted to race their motorcycles from point A to point B which is not really a big deal but the route they chose was a mix of asphalt and gravel and that’s how the first scramblers came to be there were regular bonnaville fitted with long travel suspension and Noby tires for some rough road Shenanigans back in the day scramblers were created by Riders themselves who had to adapt the road bikes for off-road use in their own garages and needless to say the modifications were a little bit on the rougher side extending the suspension fabricating wider fenders to prevent the wheels from locking in the mud getting wider handlebars on there for easier riding and more leverage and fitting tires with huge tread knobs the modern day Scrambler like the new 400x is a far cry from those OG scramblers from packing Quality Hardware like the gold and USD Forks a preload adjustable rear mono shck as well as massive brakes to state-of-the-art software like switchable traction control and abs scramblers have come a long long [Music] way waking up before the sunrise never too much for me to handle like I’m Tongue Tied SK the limit with me and you have a fun time so ride with me if you w’t only take one ride what do we use motorcycles for commuting toring cornering the occasional short Blast for some daily therapy those are a lot of things to ask for from a single motorcycle which is where scramblers come in to save the day you going know when the be show that’s the call of the Beast got a be there isn’t anything you can tell me to deter me you feel me I know you heard me and when you thought I was finished I get a second win so I can win it let’s talk about touring on this 400x there is enough space to strap on luggage enough power to cruise at triple digit speeds and enough Comfort to let you ride all day [Music] [Music] long then you come across the occasional Halo mountain in the way and the road has to twist and turn around it the Scrambler shines here as well the 400x traces its road bike DNA to its agility and responsiveness on the twisty roads here of course there are going to be some impulsive detours on the way like scrambling down a dirt road just in time to catch a spectacular Sunset and here too the 400x feels right at home baby baby too my baby baby too she is my baby [Music] too my baby baby too my baby baby too she is my baby too down you’re ready to blow but it took three to tang go and now she is my baby too and that’s just the fun part welcome to the urban jungle and here to the 400x is an accomplished Urban machine no fuss no hassle the way you sit up straight and Tall on the motorcycle lets you look far ahead and pick your lines through traffic and the suspension takes care of any bumps and Pooles you or more specifically in this case I may have missed motorcycles weren’t always versatile machines they were built to serve a speci specific purpose and scramblers were the kind of motorcycles that people used to race on back in the day no matter what the terrain but as the needs of today’s motorcyclist kept on evolving and the demands from their machine kept on increasing scramblers evolved to become the most versatile type of motorcycle known to mankind thank you for watching this Scrambler story you like one would you buy one and do you think the 400x is going to usher in a whole new genre of more versatile motorcycles comment and we’d love to know as always stay subscribed and uh [Music] bye-bye …
