just watching these are the top three things you need to have if you want to have a high level working dog like the Poo pup the first thing to realize is that he is not working to please me he is not working because I am dominant over him he is working for one simple thing his reward just like you and I go to a job to get a paycheck his paycheck is either food the ball or sleeve to bite so this is what he is going for he should be staring at the ball because I am not what he’s working for that is what he’s working for it’s not until I ask him here to look at me that he locks on to me because I am not the center of his world cover that is foreign I have to remember that that is what he is working for the second thing that matters is that we are dog training the majority of our time is not spent testing the dog we spend our time building them improving speed accuracy and fluency dogs don’t care about the best angle for a heel shooting their butt back into a down or having a quick out all they care about is getting their reward so we are always working to improve because if we are not improving we are progressing we do simple things like have a leash and collar on my dogs are never too advanced for a leash in color we put the leash in the collar on and we can give very light directional guidance see I had him sit and you notice this is not escape and avoidance training I gave him almost like a lure and so this allows us here and you notice I’m not even hardly using it here of course I’m using my body because I want us to be okay let’s in sync looks crochet and always remembering that this is what he’s working for the other thing to remember us is that they are never too young for puppy training direct lures whether it be with kibble or whether it be with Paul we are always going back to the basics just he’s already kind of tired but he’s still let’s put this this whoop I almost fell speed it helps us to eke out puck a little bit more training of quality not just quantity oh it’s because he’s pulled pup …
