made an airplane stone have you made a paper airplane yeah one time well i made a paper airplane but i was really small when i made them let’s see how i do it now what do you think the first thing is we need to make paper airplanes and we gotta fold the paper that’s right stone why don’t you grab the blaster and ask it to give us some great paper for paper airplanes whoa good job stone and great job blaster all right you can set the blaster down we have two colors here so the first color paper we have is what blue that’s right blue what letter makes the sound b that’s right and the second color we have is what do you think this is yeah i think this is a yellow what letter does yellow start with okay a k it’s not a k l not an l yellow yay and if you say if you say the word yes do you know what letter yes starts with y oh y that’s right yellow starts with y that’s right so would you like a blue piece of paper or a yeah yellow piece of paper yellow all right you two can have a yellow and i’m going to work with a blue piece of paper and you can work with any paper you have at home the first step is we’re going to fold the paper hot dog way are you ready go ahead fold your paper hot dog way there nice now the second thing we’re going to do is is open it back up and then we’re going to take each corner and fold it right into the middle can you do that good job lachlan close try to line this up like this there you go that’s really perfect there you go and then you do it on the other side on this side stone nice [Music] perfect so now it should look like this this is what mine looks like there we all have the same they all look great awesome now put it down like this again we’ll have them all facing the same way so it’s really easy to follow then we’re going to take this side and fold it into the middle again can you fold it into the middle more really fold it all the way into the middle oh yeah just like that and then flatten it out did you get it locked yeah that’s pretty close so you keep this one down and then fold it right in there like this nice really good and then do the same thing on the other side can you do it on the other side stone yeah keep going that’s it you got it all right i’ll help you hold on hold on yeah there you go great all right and then i’ll fold this one for you that’s right that is what it should look like all right and just because they’re not perfect doesn’t mean we can’t have fun while we do it all right now you’re gonna fold your airplane in half again are you ready all right so then it looks like this you’re so close you’re you can do it there you go now squish it down can you squish it down hey yours is great perfect job let’s see how stone’s doing oh it does look like one of those frosting things you make on cake what shape is this um triangle triangle and triangle t you got it that’s right yeah s-t that’s the second letter in your name stone s-t very good all right what do you think we need to do to turn this into an airplane after it’s in this shape i think we need to make the wings so we’re going to fold these down again and then those are going to become the wings of the airplane so take it like this stone and then fold this wing down can you push down hard yeah push down hard this is really hard paper too and then you’ll flip it over and do the same thing lock that looks so good all right now can you do it on the other side too you want me to help you with the other side you flip it over push this part down right all right push it down hard heart heart heart use those muscles nice all right i think i’m almost finished with my airplane lachlan’s finished with his are you finished with yours no i think you’re all finished all right you want to give it a toss and see how it does oh yours is fun here comes mine why don’t we go outside and play with our new paper airplanes all right lachlan throw your airplane when you’re ready whoa his went all the way over there all
