hi guys in this video i’m going to be doing a short book review of the one minute cure the secret to healing virtually all diseases and it’s by madison cavanaugh so this book talks all about various oxygen therapies and how oxygen has actually been used as a tool to treat various different ailments and actually oxygen has been used over the last 170 years in various different formats to treat various different diseases and it puts extra emphasis on consuming hydrogen peroxide in very diluted amounts so what made me get my hands on this book was that i wanted to learn about various different oxygen therapies out there things like hyperbaric oxygen maybe ozone therapy and also hydrogen peroxide as therapeutic tools to treat gut infections and bacterial overgrowth because what we really need to know about bacterial overgrowth is they’re almost always full of anaerobic species of bacteria and some of which oxygen is actually toxic to them [Music] so this book doesn’t mention crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis in it much at all although it does list colitis as one of the conditions that was successfully treated by administering a therapeutic dose of hydrogen peroxide and why i think this might be the case is because as i mentioned earlier lots of bacterial species out there that live in the digestive tract will be anaerobes so oxygen may be toxic to some of them so it might end up killing off certain species of bacteria and if you’ve got overgrowths in there that are fermenting certain food components or you just have pathogenic species of bacteria in there hydrogen peroxide can really help as a therapeutic tool in very diluted amounts [Music] i must admit i have picked up some interesting information regarding oxygen therapies in this book and how they’ve been used over the last hundred years or so to help to treat various different diseases out there with variable success rates what i will say about this book is the author throws out a lot of blanket statements about the pharmaceutical industry and also the supplement industry how their money making businesses and how they’re basically not helping you with your health at all and i would just question the validity of the book whether the author really backs up what she has to say about these certain industries but nevertheless there is some very interesting information about hydrogen peroxide in particular and one thing that i truly never knew about hydrogen peroxide which i thought was super interesting is a lot of people will question it and say that’s basically like just drinking bleach for example but hydrogen peroxide is actually in mother’s milk so if it’s in breast milk you would think that it’s supposed to be consumed by humans it’s not actually a foreign entity to the body and i find that super interesting and also hydrogen peroxide is often the byproduct of certain bacterial species out there to actually help compete and eliminate other species of bacteria in and around the digestive tract it’s used as a therapeutic by-product so it is a very interesting read for that reason guys i picked up lots of new information about it and i definitely think it’s worth reading for that reason so first and foremost i would recommend this book to anyone out there who is interested specifically on the topic of oxygen therapies and it emphasizes a lot about hydrogen peroxide in particular maybe you have a bacterial infection present or bacterial overgrowth and you’re looking to reduce the counts of bacteria in your digestive system well oxygen is undoubtedly one of the best therapeutic tools for that because all of these bacterial species are anaerobic so i would really look into it a little bit closer if you’re somebody who has confirmed tests to say that you either have a gut infection or bacterial overgrowth you may want to get your hands on this book another person who i would recommend this book to would be somebody who’s been in environments where it’s exposed their body to potentially opportunistic species of bacteria that are creating an abundance of symptoms so this might be prolonged periods of time spent in a hospital ward or it could be somebody who’s picked up food poisoning or somebody who’s traveled to different areas around the world and come back and you might have started feeling a lot rougher you might have bacterial species living in your gi tract creating so many symptoms and this might just be a useful therapeutic tool for you so primarily i would say somebody who has small intestinal bacterial overgrowth this is probably a book that’s worth reading if you’re somebody with crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis again it’s completely optional if you’re somebody who’s interested in learning more about oxygen therapies then definitely pick up this book if not then it’s one that you could possibly ignore so when talking about the value of info this book i must admit there are some interesting things the author says all about oxygen therapy and how it’s been used as a therapeutic tool over the last hundred years or so to manage certain disease out there i’m going to give the value of info for the book three out of five and the reason i’m not going to give it any more than three is because the author throws out some blanket statements for example things like all pathological species of bacteria are anaerobic and all beneficial species of bacteria are aerobic and i would just question the validity of that because i’ve heard so many people out there say how bifidobacterium and lactobacillus species are beneficial and these are both anaerobic species of bacteria so i would just question a lot of what the author has to say in this book moving on to easiness to read now the book itself is very thin it’s probably a book you can work your way through in a single weekend the information is very easily laid out in very easy to understand chapters and just the information presented is something i believe every single sufferer out there can understand very easily so for that reason it’s got to be easiness to read five out of five so moving on to the important question that is how far will this book go to help you to reach remission and i’ve given it a three out of five and the reason for that is because yes it has some very interesting information on it and i do believe that oxygen can be used as a therapeutic tool to limit certain gut infections and also bring pathological species of bacteria down in numbers in the digestive tract but ultimately i don’t believe that’s the root cause of crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis i think there’s likely a combination of both structural and functional causes and this book doesn’t directly address any of them so i really think that it will benefit some people out there but for other people you won’t notice any benefits after doing this so moving on to my overall rating and i’m going to give the one minute cure the secret to healing virtually all diseases out there a six out of ten and now it doesn’t really stand up to its name and the title because i don’t believe this is going to eliminate lots of people’s problems out there it’s one piece of the puzzle like i said before oxygen can be a very helpful tool in certain therapeutic doses administered in certain different ways one thing i must say is hydrogen peroxide in diluted amounts can be a very cheap alternative if it works for you if it helps to boost your immune system it can be very cheap and efficient in consuming on a daily basis in very small amounts so that’s potentially one big positive you can get from reading this book the reason i’m not going to give the book any higher than a 6 out of 10 is because as i mentioned before there’s lots of blanket statements in this book the author has thrown out there about the pharmaceutical industry and also about the supplement industry and you would think in order to explain herself properly she would need maybe a 500 to 1000 page book and this book is little over 100 pages and the majority of the book is all about oxygen therapy so it’s throwing out a lot of big blanket statements and then not backing up what she has to say and it just makes me question the validity of information in the book but nevertheless there is some interesting information about oxygen therapies that you probably wouldn’t have been told about before and it’s in a very easy to understand format so for that reason i would consider picking up the book …
