do you have acne on your face dandruff in your hair are you intolerant to some foods do you get brain fog when you eat too many carbs all of these problems are caused by your gut now to give a little bit of background about me I had acne pretty bad a few years ago and I took antibiotics and a drug called roacutan to help clear up my skin and yes it has certainly helped but if I knew back then what I knew now I would do everything very differently you see taking the combination of antibiotics and roacutan actually caused me personally to have a lot of really bad IBS IBD symptoms and over the last few years it’s been something that I’ve had to try and manage and do with but thankfully due to this simple three-step process I’ve been able to heal my gut and I really suffer from any of those problems I once had before so without further Ado this is what I did to heal my gut let’s get started number one I had to heal what is called leaky gut now to explain what leaky gut is it’s basically the passage between your small intestine and your blood becomes leaky and stuff that isn’t supposed to get into your blood gets into your blood so if our digestive system was working properly we would be able to absorb carbs fats proteins and micronutrients in our small intestine into our blood but what happens when you get leaky gut is your gut leaks and other things get into your bloodstream this includes undigested food pathogens bacteria all sorts of other things and this can cause a lot of problems now I’m not going to go super in-depth into this if you want to learn more and if you think you might have leaky gut just search up leaky gut on YouTube there will be plenty of other videos that will explain it better than I can but what we need to do is take a few supplements and cut out a few Foods to heal your leaky gut the two most important supplements that you should be taking every single day are number one drinking one or two lemons worth of lemon water every single day this stimulates your liver to produce bile which is great for absorbing fats absorbing fat soluble vitamins and also getting rid of fat soluble toxins like BPA and the second thing you should be doing is drinking selum husk powder in water what this basically does is acts as a bind and binds to all of the bad stuff that is in your gut and gets rid of them it also swells up like a gel so it’s very soothing for your small intestine and can sort of help deliver the right nutrients that you need to heal your gut that I’m about to get into so the nutrients that I took to help heal my G with selim husk powder were glutamine marshmallow root licorice root aloe vera slippery on Bach and a few other things and what these do is help soothe and repair your gut lining to close those gaps and to stop leaky gut from happening this isn’t something you should be doing for the rest of your life ideally what we want to do is get your gut back into the right balance so that it can actually produce these metabolites itself to heal your gut naturally rather than having to take external supplements to do this but for the time being it’s okay to do the final thing that you need to do to help heal your liak gut is cut out a few toxic foods most notably the three worst are gluten dairy and processed sugars I know this is easier said than done but if you’re serious about healing your gut you want to get rid of your acne you want to get rid of your digestive problems you will make these sacrifices you will cut these out now that your gut is healed you can worry about getting rid of parasites candida overgrowth and other bad bacteria that are in your gut that are causing an imbalance causing leaky gut and all sorts of these other digestive problems what I took for my parasite cleanse was a onewe protocol that included golden silk which is kind of like a natural antibiotic it gets rid of the bad stuff keeps around most of the good stuff I took wormwood and black walnut hole which are basically like a tincture that you can use to help get rid of parasites I took that basically half a bottle in a week I then also took garlic which again is another natural antibiotic and I sort of ate like four to five raw clothes a day this was it was very tough to get down but you can swallow them whole or or chew them take take them with a bit of Honey or something like that and the last thing I did was one or two drops of oregano oil and this helped get rid of all of the candida overgrowth in my body it’s also very important that during this process you want to keep your body in a very alkaline State all of these bacteria and candid and other parasites thrive in an acidic environment so it’s crucial that you actually try and make your body as alkaline as possible obviously I couldn’t fully do this because I’m still playing soccer I’m playing sport going to the gym I need to get my protein in which is acidic most of the time and I needed to eat food so I couldn’t do this perfectly but I just ramped up my lemon water I started drinking three sometimes four lemons worth of lemon water throughout the day and this really helped to alkalize my body and fight off all of this bacteria naturally I did want to say that during this week of doing my parasite cleanse I kept on taking all of my other gut healing supplements and yeah I’ll be honest the parasite cleanse was disgusting it tasted awful I’m very glad I did it my body has been feeling so much better now finally onto step three repopulation you can kind of go down two routes you can either either take a very good probiotic but they’re very expensive a lot of the probiotics you find on online these days are to be honest quite [ __ ] so it’s important that you spend a lot of money on a good probiotic or you can actually buy real food that has probiotic benefits what I personally took was sauerkraut a lot of different types of sauerkraut and berri kavass there’s plenty of others such as kombucha Keers from coconut or milk technically sourdough is fermented as well I wouldn’t recommend that because there’s gluten in there there are a lot of different fermented foods you can take anything pickled is great and what this will do is replace your gut that has just been wiped out with good beneficial bacteria that’ll help you for a number of reasons after you’ve taken a few probiotic rich foods or a probiotic Rich supplement it’s important to eat a wide variety of spices fruits vegetables and organic grains to help promote a diverse ecosystem within your gut microbiome the more different micronutrients and herbs spices fruits and vegetables you take the more metabolites can be produced or the more B products can be produced by your gut bacteria and this can help your body in a number of ways a lot of the most common metabolites that your gut microbiome produces are serotonin about 90% of your ser Ronin is made in your gut 50% of your dopamine is made in your gut vitamin K2 B vitamins and I even found that testosterone can be made in your gut I have kind of been obsessed with increasing my testosterone over the last few months and I’ve sort of found another five or six different articles that show that high healing your gut by increasing the diversity in your gut it can actually lead to an increasing testosterone so I thought that was very interesting if you want to month and then I did a parasite cleanse for a week and then I took proo I and Prebiotic rich foods to help promote a diverse gut microbiome if you’re considering doing something like this for yourself
