to tell you that 99 of the people who are considering off-grid power should not get it let me explain why because what most people need is grid down power not off-grid power it’s very important that house the the door-to-door salesman told him that it’s a great deal he would be able to break even in 25 years my neighbor is 80 years old after discussing the quotes and what he really needed which was grid down power not off grid power he decided not to spend the fifty three thousand dollars on a solar panel system that would give him no power when the grid was down I just talked to a church member today who just finished the install of an eighty thousand dollar solar panel system with no batteries she’s trying to offset her 350 a month electric bill but her break-even point is in 19 years and when the when we have a blackout or brownout or the power grid goes down she has no power like I mentioned we installed our off-grid system eight years ago and we are at 16 kilowatts and we’ve paid 90 000 for our battery backup off grid solar system like I mentioned I really think 99 of the people don’t need off-grid power they need grid down power they need power when the grid goes down for an hour or two or maybe five or six seven eight hours maybe a day or a week or longer that’s when you need it the most to protect your food in your refrigerator your food and your freezer to keep the furnace going to keep the CPAP machine going and all the devices and lights and so forth in your house now the rest of the year you don’t need backup power I’m going to show you some solutions today that will give you grid down power so power when you need it you can also use the same system or expand the system to be a complete off-grid power system but you’re going to do this at a fraction of the cost of a traditional solar panel system that a door-to-door Salesman is going to try to sell you that comes with no batteries this will be complete battery backup system so let’s get into the details the base system what I’m sitting here in front of is I have two mango power e 3.5 kilowatt systems that means they have a 3500 watt electrical storage capacity and they have a 3 000 watt output that means I can literally run everything on my property with the exclusion of my well pump with one of these we’ll talk about why I have two of these here in a second now I mentioned I’m off grid so why do I have these well I have these because I really feel that this is absolutely hands down the best easiest simplest set and forget complete backup power system available at any price on the market today I’m going to help you get past all the confusion and the cells jargon and make this simple and easy for you to get back at Power immediately I literally got these the other day took them out of the box here in the living room rolled them underneath this table plugged them in and I immediately had 7 000 watts of backup power so a lot of people want to know what can these units run well just one of these units here I have two but just one of these units will run your gas or propane furnace your chest freezer laptop desktop computer your refrigerator microwave 80 inch tv window air conditioner CPAP machine hair dryer coffee maker circular saw PlayStation space heater electric blanket blenders freeze dryer dehydrator fireplace and wood burning stove or pellet stove fan literally everything on your property for 99 of the people this system right here will run everything that you own so let’s talk about grid down power first of all these systems here are completely expandable the mango power e has 3.5 kilowatts of stored battery power and 3 000 watts of output power there are a couple main reasons why I really like this system number one is because one of these systems can take 2 000 watts of input power with a solar panel power system or 3 000 watts of input power with a propane natural gas or gasoline generator or grid power that means this blackout or whatever it may be it automatically recharges the second reason why I really like this is because manual power uses grade a electrical vehicle batteries in this system the highest quality batteries available in any system at any price in the world these are the best batteries these will charge faster they’ll last longer they’re safer and more reliable than the standard lithium-ion phosphate batteries you get in backup systems now if I were not already off grid if I lived in an apartment or a house I was renting I owned and I didn’t need off-grid power but I wanted battery backup power this is how I would set the system up I would get at least one of these systems here we’ll talk about how to expand this system here in a moment to fit your needs and that’s why it’s to you all the different appliances basically everything that you own this system will run but how do you recharge it without solar well actually what I would recommend is a couple of different options and you can get these at Costco or Home Depot or Lowe’s or wherever you can run these Systems 24 7 simply by recharging them for an hour in the morning and an hour in the evening using a 3000 watt gasoline generator you can get at Costco for five hundred dollars or if you want to get a dual fuel inverter for 850 dollars you can also charge it in the morning and the evening for an hour have all the power you need during the day and through the night with no gas generator noise for 22 hours out of the day the dual fuel generator holds 1.8 gallons and will run for nine hours and will recharge this at 3 000 watts an hour recharging the mango power e for one hour in the morning and one hour in the evening would use only a half a gallon of gas so with one five gallon gas can you can recharge the mango power every day for one and a half weeks and have power 24 7 during that time so if gas is three dollars a gallon which it is right now here for fifteen dollars you could be running this and having power when the grid is down for 10 days 24 7. if gas is four dollars a gallon it would be 20 bucks and you’re up and running and life is pretty close to normal in your house what a relief having heat or air conditioning your food safe your appliances running being able to have your TV and internet and so forth up and running so you’d be informed with what’s going on in the world that’s just one of the four ways that you can recharge this the next option is an off-grid option using your solar panels if you already have an existing solar panel system that will work when the grid is down then while those solar panels are generating electricity for you they’re actually charging the unit just by this unit being plugged into the wall another option is to get the portable 200 watt foldable self-standing solar panels from mango power in order to get the full charging capabilities of these panels you need to get 10 of these panels typically at regular retail price that would have full sunlight unfortunately the grid typically goes down in bad weather for example right now this is what my weather looks like outside it is two o’clock in the afternoon and I am not generating any power here’s my solar panels on my roof not generating any power and here’s my ground Mount solar panels so in my situation if I were to recharge these off my solar panels I would need to go out there and remove the snow off the solar panels and hope that there’s enough light to generate enough electricity to recharge these batteries so you can look at somewhere between three thousand and five thousand dollars for solar panels or 500 to 850 for a gasoline or a dual fuel generator to recharge the system in an hour and a half the nice thing about buying solar panels with this system is it would be considered green energy and then you’ll be able to get the full federal and state tax rebates and tax credits so that is something to consider even if you just bought one panel you’d be able to qualify for that something else that I really really like about having this set up here is that once I plug these into the wall if you have an EMP Shield attached to your circuit breaker box these are automatically protected from an EMP or lightning strike with my solar panel system I have One EMP shield for my house which covers everything in the house including these but then I had to buy five extra EMP Shields to cover my solar panel charge controllers a substantial additional investment to protect my charge controllers and inverter whereas this here I only need one EMP shield to
